Gemma Thomas has a BA in Literature from the University of Durham, and graduated from the Birkbeck Creative Writing MA in 2011. She has lived in London for several years, and has also spent time in Jerusalem and Madrid. She has read her work at the Open Arts Café and is working on a novel about the disappearance of a teenage girl.
