M.I.R.7 Special: 18 October with Bernadine Evaristo

M.I.R., or The Mechanics’ Institute Review, is the Birkbeck Creative Writing Programme’s annual publication. An anthology of writing from new and established authors, the review aims to showcase some of the best new writing by Birkbeck students, and take the temperature of the literary world by publishing new work from our favourite authors.

2010 sees the launch of the seventh edition of M.I.R, and this month's writLOUD is offering a taste of what you can expect from the anthology. Our guest author is Bernadine Evaristo, who will be reading her story ‘On Top of the World’. Bernadine will be joined by Birkbeck students and alumni Tamara Pollock, Stephen Vowles, Emmanuella Dekonor, and Aaron Cox, who will be reading their work from M.I.R.7.

Monday 18 October 2010, 6.30-8.15 pm, RADA Foyer Bar, Malet Street, London WC1E 7JN.
